On 14 March 2023, the UK Medicines regulator approved an application to reclassify the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. When marketed asCialis Together(tadalafil 10mg), it will be a ‘P’ (pharmacy) medication, and so available ‘over the counter’ in pharmacies – see. This follows the 2018, ‘P’ classification of (sildenafil 50mg) which has been available OTC, without a prescription, since then.
This decision is good news for men’s health …. Erectile dysfunction can be a debilitating condition, so it’s important men feel they have fast access to quality and legitimate care
Dr Laura Squire, MHRA’s Chief Officer for Healthcare, Quality and Access
Unfortunately, there is a strong black market in the UK for ED medicines, which are often unlicensed or counterfeit. UK Border Force and the MHRA seize millions of pounds of these fake products from criminals annually. This new classification of tadalafil 10mg will enable men who suffer from ED to obtain it safely from a local pharmacy.
Sanofi, the drug manufacturer, is expected to launch Cialis Together later in 2023. Cialis Together will be available to purchase in pharmacies without a prescription by men over 18 with erectile dysfunction. Cialis Together tablets will contain 10mg tadalafil and the maximum pack size will be 8 tablets. Other doses and pack sizes of Cialis and tadalafil will still be available on prescription through doctors and specially trained pharmacists. Before purchase in a pharmacy there must be an assessment with a pharmacist, who will check that Cialis Together is appropriate and safe, or whether consultation with a GP is necessary.
Men suffering with ED will have another treatment option with the convenience of purchasing it in their local pharmacy, including pharmacies found inside supermarkets (eg. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s). The pharmacist will ask some health questions, may check blood pressure, and will advise on treatment with Cialis Together or Viagra Connect, or the need to consult a GP. Pharmacies usually have a private room for such discussions.
Cialis Together is a 10mg tadalafil product for use at least 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity. Its effects can last. It is not recommended for daily use. The maximum recommended dose of Cialis Together will be one tablet in 24 hours. Prescription Cialis and tadalafil will still be available at different doses.
Dr Fox welcomes the wider access to ED medication for men that Cialis Together classified as a ‘P’ OTC medication will provide. We at Dr Fox are aware of the difficulties men have in discussing ED with their GPs and in accessing ED medication. We know that Cialis is effective and safe for most men and this change provides another option for obtaining ED treatment. Pharmacists are health professionals who are able to give ED advice but they will also know when to refer men who would benefit from a doctor’s assessment. ‘P’ medicines can also be supplied on prescription, and we will offer Cialis Together, when available, alongside our other competitively priced ED products.

The city of Colchester is grappling with its own version of the ‘little blue pill’, the Viagra. A local pharmacist told theThe Sunthat the city has a long history of being one of the biggest cities in England. The pharmacist said it was not unusual for the city to be “a major pharmacy”, and that there were more than 500 pharmacies throughout the city centre.
The pharmacy has also been known as a “sales centre”, which can also refer to the city’s downtown. It is thought to have been in operation from 1883 until the early 1900s. It has also been known to have been the site of several other pharmacy areas. There are also two large supermarkets, one at Southwell and another at Northfield.
The pharmacist told thethat he had heard about an increase in the number of pharmacies operating in the city. “There were several places where people would be able to pick up the tablets, and this is a good example of how to improve the quality of service,” he said.
The pharmacist said he had not been able to find a pharmacy that was operating in the city. “I can say that there are a lot of places where people would be able to pick up the tablets and I think that is very encouraging. They have been in the city for over 20 years. I think there have been a few new pharmacies,” he said.
The pharmacist said the biggest issue was that the city had no control over its own pharmacy and that was the reason that a pharmacy was not allowed to operate in it. “The pharmacy is a different type of pharmacy. It has a different number of medicines, it does not have a specific place for it. So the pharmacy has to be able to be able to help the people in the city who are affected by the problem, who are trying to get access to treatment, to get help and to help them with their treatment,” he said.
The pharmacist said that the city had a number of pharmacy areas that were not part of the city, including Blackpool, Epping, Southwell, Euphemime, Ealing, West London, West London and Welles, and that was the main pharmacy area. He said that the main pharmacy area was the Southwell branch, which had three pharmacies.
The pharmacist said that there were also a number of pharmacies operating in the area, but that it was not a major pharmacy.
The pharmacist said that he had heard that the city had an “extra large number” of pharmacies operating in the area, which had a “huge number of places”.

Some see Viagra’s efficacy in treating erectile dysfunction (ED) and others as it aids in treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Both medications have their uses, but Viagra tends to be more effective when used as directed. While Viagra is a popular choice for ED, sildenafil is more commonly used for PAH. The differences between these two medications may be due to various factors, including differences in drug metabolism, side effects, and other factors. Understanding the differences between Viagra and sildenafil is crucial in making an informed decision about which treatment is right for you.
Viagra (sildenafil) and sildenafil (sildenafil) are two drugs that belong to the class of medicines known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Viagra belongs to the PDE5 inhibitors family, which means it works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis. Sildenafil belongs to the class of medicines known as nitric oxide donors, which means it can both directly and indirectly affect certain chemicals in your body known as cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is a substance in the smooth muscle cells of the blood vessels that supply your penis. By inhibiting PDE5, sildenafil helps relax these smooth muscle cells, allowing them to dilate and allowing them to heal. Viagra is available in tablet form, and sildenafil is available in vial form. Viagra and sildenafil are medically equivalent, and the differences in efficacy may be due to the differences in metabolism, side effects, and other factors.

Viagra belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Viagra works by inhibiting the enzyme which breaks down cGMP, which is a substance that relaxes the muscles in your penis. This allows the smooth muscle cells in your penis to dilate and allow them to heal. Sildenafil may also interact with Viagra, leading to potentially dangerous side effects. Sildenafil is more commonly used in PAH, meaning it is effective when used as directed. Sildenafil is generally well-tolerated, and the interaction may result in dangerous side effects. The similarities in effectiveness between Viagra and sildenafil highlight the necessity for careful consideration of potential interactions with other medications.
Viagra is a type of medicine known as a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Viagra works by inhibiting the enzyme which breaks down cGMP, an enzyme that breaks down nitric oxide (NO) in the lungs. This increases the production of a chemical called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is a substance that relaxes muscles in the blood vessels of the penis. This allows blood to flow into the penis and cause an erection. Sildenafil may interact with Viagra, leading to dangerous side effects. The effectiveness of sildenafil in treating ED may be due to the differences in metabolism, drug metabolism, and other factors. The interaction between sildenafil and Viagra may be due to the differences in side effects, such as headaches, muscle pain, and redness or irritation.
